1. Who We Are & What WASLA Is
WASLA ("the Platform", "we", "us") is operated by WASLA Egypt LLC, Cairo, Egypt. WASLA connects the clothing-manufacturing ecosystem — brands, factories, suppliers, marketing companies and professionals — so they can discover each other, showcase products, post and find jobs, negotiate, and trade.
WASLA is a marketplace and networking platform. Except where expressly stated, we are not a party to the agreements, transactions, or communications made between users.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use WASLA.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- If you register on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind that business to these Terms.
3. Your Account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You may enable optional security features (two-step verification, new-device login alerts, and a PIN / biometric app lock).
- Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or infringing content, or impersonate any person or business.
- List counterfeit goods or products you are not authorized to sell.
- Harass, threaten, spam, or abuse other users.
- Attempt to bypass security controls, scrape the Platform, or interfere with its normal operation.
- Use WASLA for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Egyptian law or applicable regulations.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Content You Post
- You retain ownership of the content you post (product photos, listings, portfolio, posts, reels).
- You grant WASLA a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute that content within the Platform so it can be shown to other users as intended.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to everything you post.
6. Marketplace, Offers & Transactions
- Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, prices, stock, and product quality. Buyers are responsible for reviewing listings before ordering.
- Prices may be negotiated directly between users, including through in-chat price offers. An accepted offer is an agreement between the two users, not with WASLA.
- Marketplace orders are paid cash on delivery, directly between the buyer and the seller or their courier. WASLA does not collect, hold, or transmit payment for orders, and no card details are entered into the Platform.
- WASLA is not responsible for the performance of any deal between users, but we provide tools (verification, reviews, reporting, dispute flags) to help build trust and resolve issues.
7. Verification & Trust
Some actions (such as publishing a product or posting a job) may require a verified email and phone number, and optionally business verification. Verification badges reflect information provided to us and do not constitute a guarantee by WASLA of any user's conduct or the quality of their goods or services.
8. Fees
Creating an account and joining WASLA is free. Where paid features or transaction fees apply, they will be clearly disclosed before you incur them.
9. Intellectual Property
The WASLA name, logo, design, and software are owned by WASLA Egypt LLC and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the Platform except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
10. Third-Party Services
WASLA relies on trusted providers including Google Firebase / Google Cloud (hosting, authentication, analytics). Your use of those features is also subject to the providers' own terms.
11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
- WASLA is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, WASLA Egypt LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from dealings between users.
12. Suspension & Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that pose a risk to other users or to the Platform. On deletion, your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use of WASLA after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights.
